Sutton's Italian and American Bar and Grill.
Located aross from richmond rd. kroger where the Schlotzky's use to be.
I went there May 28,2010 which three other adults and a three year old. The restaurant opened this past week. We called ahead and made reservations for five at noon. The guy on the phone was very friendly and even asked where we would like to seat. We sat on the covered patio. Which was very nice because it was very spacey and there were two ceilings fans. Everyone at the table enjoyed the patio. We ordered cheese fries to start with. They had cheese, bacon, green onions which have noticed alot other place do not use green onions, which I thought was a great added flavor! The fries had great seasoning. There were warm which is always a good thing! The fries were served with ranch dressing. There were plenty fries and dressing to share. It was over priced , I thought it was eight dollars. I ordered fried chicken salad. It was overpriced at $8.39. I had to wait awhile for my dressing. There was enough chicken or any eggs in the salad. It was just ok. A friend ordered fried shrimp. It was around $14.00 but not enough shrimp. It was said it was good though. Another friend ordered the seafood pasta. It was also around $. 14.oo dollars. It had good severing of pasta. There was shrimp, mussels. and squid. He said the mussels were too fishy and aren't suppose to taste that way. He said the seasoning was very good in the pasta. Overall the pasta just as received an ok rating. My other friend ordered the club sandwich. It looked very tasty and was huge! They were served with kettle chips they were yummy and had seasoning to them. She said she get it again. Her child ordered chicken fingers and fries. He ate all his chicken fingers and some of his fries. The chicken fingers were tasty and not greasy like some places. They have pretty good kids menu: steak tips, cheese pizza, hamburger, and spaghetti and meatballs. The menu is steaks, sandwiches ,seafood pasta. The price range is $8.00 to 15.00. The desert menu had bread pudding, chocolate lava cake, and three other deserts.
I would go here again and sit out on the patio but I wouldn't go if i was in a hurry the service was slow but could be because its new place. Everyone in my group agreed it is more of a sandwich place and there waitress wasn't very slow, the hostess had to help her out and was annoyed she was not doing her job. The food was little over price so the over all rating for stars out of 5 is 2 and half stars. This is my first review so please add suggestions next time i will do pictures.
